After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

Yes PowerPoint is included in windows 2000 pro if it is not installed,

1.. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3.. In the Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft Office XP
Professional or Microsoft Office XP Standard, and then click Change.
4.. In Microsoft Office XP Setup, click Add or Remove Features, and then
click Next.
5.. In the Features to install tree, click the down arrow next to each
program that you want to install, and then click Run all from My Computer.
6.. Insert the Office XP installation CD in your CD-ROM drive, and then
click Update.
