Office 2000 Professional

My computer was jsut returned to me with a new harddrive after being fixed.
When I went to put the Office 2000 Professional CD in the drive to load the
programs, I enter my name and producte key nunber. After doing this, a
dialogue box comes up that says "setup failed to locate qualifying product on
your machine." What should I do from here?? Please help me

You apparently have an Upgrade (not Full) version of Office 2000. See

Qualify for the Microsoft Office Upgrade".

You are going to need a product to upgrade.

Without one of these products, you are not going to be able to use that
version of Office.

How did you manage to install the first time. You had to have the
qualifying software then. Where is it now? Perhaps you had a "software
bundle" from the computer manufacturer? Reload that?
