Office 2000 prompts me to install when visiting certain sites with

I'm sometimes getting the problem of Microsoft Office 2000 trying to install
somtime when I sometimes visit certain sites. It happens only on certain
sites but not all the time. The windows installer appears when I visit the
site and says "Preparing to install" and then it prompts me to insert the MS
Office 2000 disc. I definately have MS Office 2000 installed so this
shouldn't be happening. I've been checked by a computer professional that
says I have no viruses or spyware on my computer. Any idea how I could fix
this? Thanks

Anyone know what's happening? I think I narrowed it down. When I visit a
certain site, it tries to run some sort of popup that's blocked by my
antivirus. But before it's blocked, Microsoft Office 2000 tries to install
something.

I suspect it depends on what Office feature the certain (un-named) site
is trying to use. Your options are to allow that popup, or do a little
research. Or tell the folks the name of the site!
