office 2000 registration

Hi, all:

This question may sounds stupid but as a newbie here, I
really need help on this issue!

After two years using office 2000, I already forgot if I
had registered the product before. Is there any way to
find it out? Or how to register the product on
microsoft.com?

Why do you now want to register the product? Registering a product with
Microsoft is optional.
