office 2000 running on xp

Hello,

I have insatlled office 2000, on XP OS. When i'm applying
the security patches for office 2000, i get an error 128.
unable to copy to 'C:\Config.msi "pt040.tmp file, it
already has been modified.

Since I uninstalled office xp, it there a file that i need
to delete for the security patches to load properly.

I got those messages and I just clicked on "ignore" and it installed anyway.
Try it.
