Hello:
I fresh installed Office 2000. I installed SR-1a and SP3, rebooted. Then I
began to install Security Updates. First I installed Security Update for
Word KB950250 (dated 13/05/2008), since it was at top of the page.
When I later tried to install older Security Updates, such as KB942669
(08/10/2007) and KB934392 (08/05/2007), a dialog box said: "This update has
already been applied or is included in an update that has already been
applied." The same scenario occurred when I updated Excel: after installing
the most recent Security Update, attempted installs of older ones returned
that message that they were already applied or included.
Are older Security Updates included in the most recent Security Update? Is
it therefore unnecessary to install the older Security Updates?
