I am trying to install Office 2000 Service Pack 3 from a
Microsoft provided CD. According to the MS website, SP1a
must be installed first, but this is supposed to be
included with the SP3 CD. When I go to install the
update, I get a message that says "The expected version
of product was not found on your system."
I then went to download SP1a from the MS website and
after 2+ hours, I get a message that the Office 2000 SP1
did not complete successfully.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
Thanks.
