office 2000 servive pack 3 english version

Ihave tried to install the office update sp3 for office
2000 however it tells me that the update was
unsuccessful. I have tried this several times. Can some
one assist me. I have home edition xp installed and also
the SP2. I HAVE FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDING
PUTTING IN THE PRODUCT CD BUT STILL GET UNSUCCESSFUL. I
have received this update automatically which tells me to
install. Can someone out there assist
