My PC is stable and has the latest patches for Win98. When
I attempt to install the Office 2000, I get error 1335
Office1.cab file may be corrupt. My Mom also had the same
error when installing Office 2000 on her XP machine.
Microsoft has a so called work around, but only for XP. I
know Ofice 2000 is supported by Win 98 and have a number of
associates that have successfully installed O-2000 on Win
98 with no problems.
I have tried setting my CD ROM to no read ahead, and set
the correct memory maximum in msconfig. I am getting
nowhere at Microsoft and would appreciate any help.
