office 2000 shortcut bar graphics distorted

The icons on my shortcut bar still link me to the programs (word, excel...)
but the icons are unrecognizable. How can I fix this.

Have you tried reinstalling it?

There should be a gap between the flag and the icons. if you right click on
this, you can 'refresh' and the icons should sort themselves out.
