Office 2000 Small business install on XP?

I own a PC with Office 2000 Small Business
installed/Windows 98. The 'install CDs' came with the PC
purchase. I recently bought a PC with XP as the
operating system. Can I install the Office 2000 suite on
my new XP system? Will it work ok?
Thanks

Yes it will work okay... When it comes time to register Office use the phone number
and explain you are transferring the product to a new computer. This means you will
have to uninstall it on the older computer.

If Office 2000 SBE was preinstalled on the old computer then you will not be
able to transfer it. The license in these cases is perpetually tied to the
original computer.
