Office 2000 Small Business onWinXP

I just bought a new system with XP; it has Works Suite -
nice but I want more!!! Can I install my Office2000
Sm.Bus. program on my new computer without causing
conflicts, i.e. versions of Word and Excel (spreadsheets
on Works have different extensions); can I leave Works
Suite as is and just add my office program? thank you

Donna:

Yes, you can install Office 2000 on Xp and it won't interfere with Works.
Be sure once you install it that you also install all the updates and
service releases from the office update web site.

Thank you Steve; will attempt successful install per your
advice including updates et.al. Sorry took so long to
respond...been down with the "flu" (better than being
infected with a "worm/virus")...wish me luck!
