Office 2000 Small Business

I know it was stupid but I deleted Office 2k Small Business since it appeared
as 'never used' in add/remove programmes. I did system restore when I
discovered my OE spellcheck and other things didn't work and it reappears in
programmes but some things still say its not there or not working. I have
tried downloading various SP's and updates but to no avail. I have a XP
re-installation disc but not sure if this will work and if I will lose
anything. Help Please!!

No, your XP disk is probably for Windows, not Office. Reinstalling it will
not correct the situation. Office 2000 will be on a disk labeled just that.
