Office 2000 SP-1 update won't install

Hi, I bought a valid copy of Office 2000 from my college
which had a site-wide license for all students. We payed
a discounted price at the college bookstore and were
rented the cds for a few days so we could install Office
2000 on a home computer.

We were NOT allowed to keep copies of the cds. Now, when
I try and install the Office 2000 SP-1 update it is
requiring the cds to complete the update. Well, that
won't work for me for obvious reasons!

How do I install the SP-1 update without the cds????

Refer to this article:

for information on the SR1 / SR1a update Office 2000.
For this version of Office you will need the original installation disks for updates.
You will need to get the Office cd's from your original provider. If I remember correctly, you are allowed to make one backup copy of this version to backup your original installation disks.
