Office 2000 SR-1a Download

When I down load this update it asks for the Office 2000
CD of course. When I load the disk it says the path
Microsoft Office 2000 can not be found. When I try to
pull up the DATA1 installation file from the disk it says
this file is not valid. I am now stuck, can not complete
my updates & can not load new software vital to my
business.HELP!
I just performed these downloads on my main computer with
the same disk & everything went fine.
Can you help me?

Julie, I was having a similar problem and solved it by
turning off my Viruscan program and reinstalling the
Office 2000 Disks. Actually I used the "repair" feature
but I think it does the same as reinstalling. Don't know
if this is the answer to your problem but you may want to
give it a try. Jim
