Office 2000 SR1a Update problem

S

Stuart

I have installed Office 2000 professional, (Windows 98SE).

The Office update site said that I should update to SR1a, so I downloaded
the update (o2ksr1a.exe) and then ran it. It said that SR1 was already
installed.

I tried to update to SR2 (sp2upd.exe) but it said that I have to first
update to SR1 or SR1a.

BTW, in "add/remove programs" SR1 does not appear.

So:-

I can't update to SR2 before doing SR1 or SR1a, and I cant do that as the
update thinks it is already installed!

HELP!
