Office 2000 Standard upgrade

I have an Office 2000 standard upgrade which works fine
on my HP Tower with only Worls 5.0, will this same
upgrade work with Works 7.0 on a new HP Notebook.

No, you will need to use the Works 5 CD to show the installation when it
asks for the qualifying product. Works version 7 is newer than the Office
2000 upgrade and it will not recognize it.
