The customer wants replacement media for its Office 2000 std, but the
product is no longer offered. how should we go about it?

Consider purchasing an upgrade version of Microsoft Office 2003
since Office 2000 is considered obsolete.

But if the customer has lost the original disk and they have an upgrade,
they will be up that famous creek without a paddle if they ever need to put
the 2003 software on a replacement computer.

The OP's best bet at this point is to try to find another one at a place like EBay

Either that or buy a full retail version of Office 2003.
