Office 2000 trying to load when using Earthlink email?

Why does Office 2000 try to load when I try to forward an email while using Earthlinks email program. Problem also occurs if I click on any email links. Other links work fine. Once I cancel install then I can do what it was I wanted to do. I have a Dell computer running XP Home and am using Earthlink 2004. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look in the options menu from Internet Explorer under the program tab for mail and such make sure it points to earthlin and not outlook

So it is not just me. I have the same problem every time

I run my Juno dialup program. Please let me know if you
find a fix.
