Office 2000 types by itself

A client has an installation of Office 2000 or Office XP installed on a
laptop that exhibits strange behaviour.

Not long after starting Word text starts being typed.

I have scanned for viruses and spyware and located none. I checked the
normal template and replaced it and it still happens. I have also asked the
client to insert the original CD and run a detect and repair. I have also
checked the Autocorrect feature and it doesn't appear to be there either.

Apparently when Outlook is running, focus changes and from pane to pane and
the menus occasionally drop.

I performed a search through all files looking for some of the words being
typed, but it revealed nothing.

Can anyone suggest where I might look? Should Office be uninstalled and
re-installed? Has anyone had this behaviour before?

Cheers,

Andrew

Sounds like either Demonic Posession, or voice recognition has been switched
on.
