Office 2000 - Uninstall problems

I am trying to uninstall Office 2000 Premium using the
Add/Remove programs from the Control Panel. It says that
it cannot find Data1.msi file on the CD-rom or HD. How do
I obtain or locate this file so I can get it off my PC. I
have installed Office 2003 and this "problem" keeps
popping up when Office 2003 tries to use simple commands
like Copy, etc. It will pop up screen looking for files
from Office2000. Can anyone help please?

Hi, TomT,

Data1.msi is a common file for other applications, too. Do you perhaps have
a Publisher disk, or Works? You might try inserting one of those when
prompted.

I only have Frontpage 2000 which has a Data1.msi file but
it did not like it.

Go into the Windows Control Panel and look in "Add/Remove Programs" to see
if there are multiple versions of Office installed, or Works, or anything
else (maybe preinstalled) you might now know about.
