Office 2000 Update: Service Pack 3 (SP3)

When I go to the office update site and it scans my PC to
tell me which updates I require, it tells me I need SR3,
after downloading it then tells me that installation has
be unsucessful. Any Ideas, I have even removed and
reinstalled office but still no luck. My OS is XP Home
Edition.
