Office 2000 update sr1

Hi,
I'm having a lot of difficulty with excel crashing - microsofts answer is
for me to update. However, I do not have the office discs with me. I have
followed the instructions on what to do if you don;t have the discs i.e
larger file option, but during the installation, it still asks me for disc 2.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do, or what I'm doing wrong here?
I can't keep on losing data!!

Office 2000 SR-1 does, in fact, require that you have the original disks.
