Greetings.
I was doing some general "clean up" work on my daughters PC. Yes, the PC is
old...but hey, it still works for her purposes. The OS is Windows 98 and
Office 2000 is installed and working just fine. However, when I went to MS
website and looked for updates for this PC it listed an update for Office
2000 that was never downloaded.
So...I thought, why not? Well, when the window told me it would take nearly
three hours to download, I said forget it. (Thinking...if it's not broke,
don't fix it!)
Does anyone know what's in this Office 2000 "update" that would require such
a huge download? As I said, all Office programs APPEAR to be working just
fine for her puposes, so I'm thinking...just leave it be!
