office 2000 updates downloaded but will not install

Cannot download the latest updates in office 2000 sp3, 9.0.8944sp3. Updates
are kb894540, kb920822, kb923274. Have downloaded & installed o2ksr1adl.exe
as recommended by the boards and nothing. No messages listed except for
unsuccessful. Have done the detect and repair and it did not fix the problem.
I do have the original install disk's for both.(win 2000 pro, 5.0.2195sp4)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks DW
