Office 2000 updates with xP

I recently upgraded our Dell computer with XP-Professional, and re-installed
the Office 2000 program that we had. The Office 2000 applications work fine.


When I try to update Office 2000, it shows needed updates, but when I try to
install the first required update, screen won't load the update site.

I've tried this with the firewall disabled, but still no success.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Have you tried using the upgrade engine (I believe it is called) shown on the
upgrade page? You may be trying to install upgrades out of order.
