Office 2000 Updates

I am unable to update Office 2000 from the Microsoft Office update website. The error message I receive is that files from Windows 2000 Professional were changed or are missing. Is there any way to determine the file which prevents me from updating Office 2000? Has anyone else had this problem and can offer suggestions. Thank you. Fred1
