Are there any known issues when installing Office 2000 to Windows 2000 Pro? I
want to do a network install to only one computer. This prevents having to
reinsert the Office CDs every time there's an update. The Office
administrative installation point will be set up on Drive D (FAT32). It will
be been slipstreamed to include all three service packs, the updates,
hotfixes, etc. During installation, I will access the setup files on Drive D
(FAT32) and install Office to Drive C (NTFS).
Windows 2000 has not yet been installed, or even purchased. I'm just getting
preliminary data to even see if it's possible to have a C drive (NTFS) with a
D drive (FAT32). You can do it with XP, but there are so many problems with
XP that some people have suggested I consider Windows 2000 Pro as an
alternative.
