office 2000 & windows XP

I'm buying a new PC with Windows XP and would like to know
if my old Office 2000 will work the same under the XP O/S?

Bob,

Yes, Office 2000 works fine under Windows XP.

To clarify what Chip has said, Office 2000 will work fine with your OS but
if the copy of Office that you have came with the old machine (OEM), you
will be unable to install it on the new machine. It is an OEM version and
is tied to the old machine and cannot be transferred to another machine.

Hi Bob, I have used Office 2000 since 2000 and recently

upgraded to XP and have had no visual problems.
