Office 2000 with Multiple Users

I recently installed Windows XP Pro. I then installed Office 2000 Pro on my
Administrator account. Everything works fine, until my wife logs on and
tries to use office. It tries to install and then goes ahead and opens up
the selected office application. It doesn't let her keep personal settings
or any preferences. I have tried switching her account to Administrator
without any change. Do I need to install it under her login? If so, do I
also need to reapply all of the office updates? Any help would be
appreciated.
