I have been using Office 2000 with xp home edition without any problems.
However, when I tried to upgrade xp to xp sp2 I have had problems in saving
files in Office. When I started the upgrade I received an error message
"File Corrupt" and the program removed xp sp2. Microsoft suggested on try a
download in the "safe mode" and the same thing happened again. Now I can't
save files in office. Every time I try a save, Windows shuts down and creats
a error report and directs me back to the Microsoft site.
Any suggestions to fix the problem. Also, Microsoft is send a CD to install
xp sp2, but I am afraid to load because of the problem with Office 2000.
Should I just reload Office 2000 or did the xp sp2 screw up xp so that Office
won't work. My Works program works fiine
