Office 2000, XP & SR1a

I have recently bought a new computer with Windows XP Home Edition. My
previous computer had Windows 98 and I had downloaded the SR1a patch -
everything worked great.

What I would like to know is should I download the patch for my new system,
Office 2000, XP Home Edition? I went to the Microsoft website to do so, but
stopped because it did not say it support XP anywhere. Can someone point me
in the right direction please.

Go to http://office.microsoft.com/home and click on the "Check for updates"
link in the upper right. This will take you to a place where your system is
checked for the suggested updates for Office.
