Office 2000

Deep

Hello.

I am a student. Therefore I cannot afford Office XP,
certainly not Office 2003. So to the next best, Office
2000.
I was wondering if somebody could advise me as to what
version of Office 2000 would best suit my needs, as I am
unable to ascertain what applications are available with
each. Basically, I need Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint,
Publisher and Outlook.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, Deep,

There is a Students and Teachers licensing program for Office XP and Office
2003. The cost for Office 2003 is around $129 US. You might look into
that, because the pricing is much better. The down sides are that you
cannot use it for upgrade to the next version, and that you can only install
it on one system.

Whoever you're buying it from should be able to tell you what's in each
version. If they can't, I don't think I'd do business with them. If you
need Access and PowerPoint, you are limited to the Pro or Premium version of
Office 2000.
