Hi

I seem to have a problem on my office toolbar in that when
I click on my folders to open up the files within there is
a very long delay opening the folder and when I am on the
internet I get a message from my norton firewall program
saying that "msoffice.exe is attempting to access the
internet" which previously didn't occur.

Has anyone any ideas as to what is going on and how to
rectify the problem.

describes how to disable the Office plug-in (which you should do anyway,
as far as I'm concerned). It's a PPT kb article, but the instructions
for disabling the plug-in are good.
