Office 2000

I have tried to update the security patches and find I
cannot. I tried to access the Office Installation CD and
find I cannot access it.
I have moved missing files from the CD to memory with file
checker in Win 98SE that appear to have been erased,
possibly by Trojan dlder.
Has the restoring of these files caused me to lose use of
Office?
Can I correct the problem?

You should have a repair option if you re-run setup from CD #1.
