Office 2000

I purchased an IBM Aptiva with Win98 and Lotus SmartSuite back in '99.
I also bought an Office 2000 Professional Upgrade for it. I have a
newer computer for the kids now and use the IBM for a single
application for my husband (it was even upgraded to XP). The newer
computer is a Gateway with Office XP Small Business which is a
configuration of components that does not include Power Point. The
kids need Power Point for school. Since the license for Smart Suite
and Office 2000 are no longer needed on the Aptiva I wanted to upgrade
the Office XP version on the kids computer to include Power Point.

If I have to go back to Office 2000 Professional from Office XP Small
Business I have no problem, you can advise me there. What I will have
a problem with is that the SmartSuite didn't come on a manufacturer's
CD but was instead bundled into a sort of one-stop complete recovery
CD. IBM cannot think (of a solution) can you? Please be creative, I
have extra hard drives possibly for creating the IBM original config
again, slave it, then point to it - will it upgrade the Office XP? Are
there some creative means you can think of. If I go to eBay and buy an
old (cheap) product and upgrade it, will I have an issue with running
Office XP and adding in Office 2000 Power Point?

Thanks very much
