I have the above package and the data1.msi file is not recognised as a valid
file when attempting to install the SR1a patch. The installer has been
updated however the installer is still looking for the data1.msi file for the
Outlook2000 package and is unable to find it.
I have checked the file size of the data1.msi file on the CD and found it to
be SR1a already. When I checked out the error log in Windows/temp I found the
only package requiring an update was Outlook2000. Outlook2000 was installed
from this OEM CD however as it may have automatically upgraded Outlook from
an earlier version found on Office97 I tried this CD to - which I still have
- no joy there, in fact no .msi file found at all.
The question is: Is the only option to remove all versions of Outlook and
re-install from the 2000SBE CD or is there a better way to get this patch
installed?
