It's possible that the new DSL setting will not work with your older
software. There have been numerous complaints from Entourage X users after
recent security updates to servers.
To eliminate Entourage 2001 for your new settings, try downloading with
Apple Mail. If you can download with Mail, you will know the problem is with
your old software.

Error -23012
An error occurred on the IMAP server. A connection failure has occurred.
It could be either something miss-configured on the client end or on the
server end for the users. On the server end you can try comparing the
settings of a good user and a bad user in Active Directory (you can bring up
the account dialogs for both, and compare the items in all 15 tabs...) On
the client side you can do the same in Entourage. It might also be worth
looking in the System network preferences to make sure nothing is different
there. You can also create new identities in Entourage on the various
machines which will allow you to try to configure one of the failing users
on a machine that was working, and the other way around too. That may help
figure out if it is a client side or server side problem.
There was a new Mail program that came with the new OS, and a new Browser
too: Safari. I set up the new Mail program and it works fine. I tried
setting up the Entourage mail setup and it wouldn't work. This newsgroup
seems to work OK, no problems with that. All of the Microsoft Newsgroups
came up in the system.
Accessing the newsgroups are different than accessing your mail from your
ISP's server.
In addition to the big change in daylight savings time this last March,
recent security updates have broken a lot of the older software. It's time
to upgrade or change to Apple's free Mail.
