Office 2003 & Access 2000

I am planning an upgrade of my home computer to Windows XP
home, and i have Office 2000, uncluding Access. I want to
but the new Office 2003, but just the standard version
this time, so it will not include Access. I only use
Access for one other program.... actually, it uses Access
in the background. It is Shadow Notes, a free form 'tree'
style database. My question is: can i install just Access
off of the 2000 disk, and then install '03? Will they
fight with each other? Will this confuse the MS update
scanning website? Will this confuse the registration
process?
Thanks in advance for any help!

You can install just Access from Office 2000 CD just do a custom install and
choose only Access.

Access 2000 should work fine with Office 2003.

I don't believe you will experience any problems with office update.

You should have no problems activating Office 2003 but you may need to
activate Access by phone.
