Office 2003 address book missing

Hi, I recently had to upgrade from Outlook 2000 to 2003 for the exchange
server access. I was having sync issues so I deleted the exchange server
email account and upon reinstallation it did not find my address book. I
have tried searching for .pst, .oab, .wab files and could only find a 3 year
old copy of my .pst.
Was it renamed upon deletion, can I get it back. Last note is that most of
the address book with the exception of my personal friends( most important !)
was
transferred to the exchange server. How can I copy that book back to my
home computer??? Thanks in advance.

Outlook has no separate address book. The Outlook Address Book, however, will display your contacts folders' entries. Have you checked in Tools | E-mail Accounts, under address lists to see if it's there? If not, do so and add it if needed.
