Hi,

Can office 2003 and 2007 exist on the same machine? What will file
associations do? Can that be controlled? OS is XP Pro.

Thanks!

During the install procedure you can select Custom and pick the location you
want. I'd install oldest version first. I don't thnk anything can be done
about the file associations.

So I guess the last version to install gets the associations?

Thanks!

Thats correct, prior to installing later version ammend the office shorcuts,
eg Word > Word03 otherwise they will be overwritten by later version.
PS update earlier version prior to installing later v. - Only a single
instance of outlook can be installed.
It not neccessary to pick an installation location, all office versions
later than 2000 install to version specific folders. In your case Office11 &
Office12.

Each time I tired, I have problem with Access and Word : when I start the
version I not started last time, I had to wait a lot of time (several
minute) an "installation" process

is it fixed?
