Office 2003 and Laptop Fonts

I have several laptops with Windows XP as the operating system that are
experiencing font problems when upgraded to Office 2003. The fonts and
graphics are blurry in all Office applications, and in Outlook when someone
replies to an email, the original email font is miniscule. We've played with
the resolution settings and the refresh rate. Any suggestions?

Thanks! We already tried that and it definitely helped, but the graphics on
the buttons in Outlook/Word/Excel are also not in focus and blurry. Things
like the format painter button and the delete button. And the blue fonts
when using the autopreview pane make me nautious to look at because they are
so blurry. Thanks for your suggestion though!

Another thing with "laptops" and "LCD's" is if you use some resolution
other than the "native" one, it can cause "smearing" of the edges.
