Office 2003 and limited accounts

The issue:

Can not use the Insert -> Picture -> Chart in Word from a limite
account.
Other functions are also affected, but I'll use this one as th
example.
Everything works fine from any administrator account.

The environment:

Office 2003 installed on XP Pro from the Administrator account.
The system has 4 accounts, one account for each member of my family.
The kids are given limited accounts for obvious reasons ;-)

Diagnostics:

Using REGMON to monitor the WINWORD.EXE access to the registry, i
appears that access is denied to many registry keys required for som
Office functions to work. An example of such a key is HKCR/MSGRAPH
Such keys have permissions for Administrator and SYSTEM, but not fo
other accounts. If permissions are added by and for either USERS o
Everyone to have READ access to these keys, then the failing function
in this case Chart, can be made to function.

If Office 2003 is removed and reinstalled, any permissions added b
hand are removed, and permissions return to the original settings.

Question:

How does one install Office 2003 on a system such the permissions ar
set to allow limited accounts to use all the functions of the product?

Thanks,

Doug

Problem solved. Not an Office 2003 issue after all.

The system security settings were apparently scrozzled. Using MMC t
apply the default security settings to SECEDIT.SDB has remedied th
problem.

Doug
