Office 2003 and Office 2007 on same PC

Hi,

When Office 2003 and Office 2007 are installed on a single computer, I
experience problems with Windows Installer.

If Word 2007 is started for the first time it processes some configuration
steps. Next time Word 2007 is started, it doesn't require any configuration
process. However, when Word 2003 is started afterwards then the Office Source
Engine (OSE.exe) initiates Windows Installer and messes up the Office 2007
configuration. As a consequence Office 2007 needs to reconfigure itself
again. This takes up to two minutes every time.

Is there any solution to stop the Office Source Engine (Office 2003) from
reconfiguring and thereby stop affecting the Office 2007 configuration?
