Office 2003 and Outlook First Run

We are deploying Office 2003 as part of a migration from GroupWise to
Exchange. We would like to deploy Office 2003 first over a week or so (500
users) and then forklift over one weekend. At that time we would remove the
GroupWise client and run an Outlook .prf to create the initial profile.

One problem we have is that if we deploy Office 2003 now, whenever a new
user runs Word or Excel it wants to configure Outlook with the default .prf
we are installing which KILLS GroupWise (desirable, but not yet). Is there
any way to deploy Office 2003 and tell it not to configure Outlook on first
run of Word or Excel?

It should only do the .prf configuration when Outlook is run. You might want to block the menu and toolbar commands that provide the Outlook integration with Word and Excel.
