Office 2003 and SalesLogix 5.2

Hi, everyone.
We have SalesLogix 5.2. Now I am trying to complete an installation on a
machine with Office 2003. It seems that it does not work: I can't see Word
as word processor and some Outlook integration seem not to be possible. The
OS is Windows 2000.

I had another pc with Slx and Office 2003 and it worked.
Does anyone know what I could try to do? I have found no documentation about
this issue...

The SalesLogix Compatibility Checklist indicates that Office 2003 is not
qualified on v5.2.x of SalesLogix. This means that "you're on your own".
SalesLogix support will probably not be able to assist you since it's not
specified that it's qualified. They just didn't check it since v5.2 came out
quite a bit before Office 2003 was released.
I'd suggest that you upgrade to v6.2.x. If you have a lot of changes this
can still be done but keep in mind that there were opportunity view
enhancements, as well as account and some contact detail view enhancements.
I'd suggest, also, that you contact your SalesLogix Business Partner to
assist you with the upgrade.
