Office 2003 and security issues

Hi all,

I used to have Office XP a couple weeks ago. Then I upgrade to Office 2003.
Since that day my Internet Explorer doesn't download any Flash. Then I
realize that no download of file is possible. When i click a link to file
pops up a dialog box asking me what i want to do: open, save, ... I choose
save and the dialog box that asks me where i want to save the file never
comes! Then an error window pops! Something about 'not avaiable', 'try again
later'. This happens with any file, at any host.

Then i go to officeupdate. And i figure that no ActiveX can be installed any
more.

I think: Just a security option that i need to change. BUT I set all
possible security options to minimun! Either office and ie options.

I really dont know what to do anymore. I re-installed Office 2003 and IE 6.0
SP1 over my Windows XP.

Any clues are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Flavio

Office2003 does not tweak any security settings. Have you installed an
Windows Updates lately?

Try this: In IE | Tools | Internet Options | Security, click the "Default
Level" button.
