Office 2003 and Vista SP1?

When I receive an email in plain text with a hyperlink in it a search
function in my Document folder is started when I click the hyperlink? If I
copy the link to IE7 theres is no problem. If the mail is HTML coded no
problem occurs when I click the link.

Yes it is and when I point it to Iexplore.exe it opens the IE7 startpage
instead of the site which the links point to. If the link starts with http://
instead of just www. there is no problem.

Does it still ask you to locate the link browser first or does it now always
open to the home page?
In Vista, it would be better to reassign your default browser via Start->
Default Programs if the issue continues.
