Office 2003 and Windows 7

I have a windows 7 installed laptop and having problems with word 2003 in it.
Word freezes after installation for any key combination in an open document,
any incompatibility issue or any updates to be installed, kindly help

Try the following. Search and find normal.dot and rename it to normal.old.
Now open Word and see if the problem is gone. Let us know
