Up until a few days ago, the Office Assistant would remember where I put it
(near the top of the screen), and would stay there.
However, now every time I open an Office application, the Assistant
character appears in its default position near the bottom right of the
screen, and will not remember its position after I return it to my preferred
position for it, close the Office application, and open an office application
again. I have "Move when in the way" turned off.
I have tried "Detect and repair" with no success.
How can I get the Office Assistant to remember where I put it between uses
of Office applications again?
